Back On The Wagon!!

My life has been in this weird suspended phase since I got back to Washington. I've been feeling depressed a lot. No job, no money, too much spare time, living with my mom, my dad's health issues, wondering how I'll fare in North Carolina, missing my life in Seoul and not exercising as much as I should - these factors were unnecessarily keeping me from seeing all the blessings I have. I started scrapbooking about a month ago and it's been great for channelling some creative energy and having something beautiful to show for it. And just a couple weeks ago, I got back into the Couch to 5K program. I'm on week 3 and my hope is to run a 5K next year and also to quit smoking (again). It's been a gradual, but overall successful, shift in helping me feel better about myself and about where my life is heading. There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm pleased with how small changes have dramatically affected my outlook on life. So here's to getting back on the running wagon. The creative outlets wagon. And maybe even my blogging wagon..
